In downtown Los Angeles, it is impossible to miss Grand Central Market. Established in 1917, Grand Central Market offers a variety of cuisines and cultures of LA. You can't go wrong with any vendor at this high-end, versatile food court. Make it a point to check out Eggslut! Eggslut is serving up rad egg sandwiches that will blow your mind! They take an American go-to breakfast item and kick it up a notch with creative additions, like seared wagyu tri-tip steak, caramelized onions, smashed avocado, and honey mustard aioli! Just when you thought a bacon, egg and cheese was delicious as is, it's made even more delectable thanks to Eggslut .
You could stay traditional or get funky here! For instance, you can order a bacon or sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Of course, Eggslut is using hardwood smoked bacon and house made turkey sausage. Both are accompanied by a perfect, over medium egg, melted cheddar cheese and warm brioche, to make a KILLER sandwich.
At Eggslut, it's worth the risk. Don't fear to step away from the standard ritual. Selecting any one of wild stand-outs such as the Fairfax, Guacho, or Slut...you are in for an egg-traordinary experience! Eggslut combines chives, caramelized onions, sriracha mayo with soft scrambled eggs (Fairfax) and seared wagyu steak tri-tip steak, chimichurri, red onions, and seasoned arugala with an over medium egg (Guacho). These crazy sandwiches look mouthwatering. What looks even more unusual yet scrumptious is the Slut. Potato puree sits underneath a coddled egg topped with gray salt and chives. This specialty is served up in a glass jar! Poached, with slices of baguette, How deliciously divine!
Eggslut's superb quality ingredients took this sandwich over the edge. The best part of it was the succulent fried egg that oozed beautifully with every bite. I will definitely return to Eggslut, since they are the egg masters. It is such a unique joint that you can't pass up while in LA!
