Mad Dog & Beans Mexican Cantina is throwing a New Years Eve bash!  The Foodie Out Loud team is pretty sold knowing they will have NACHOS at the party.  Mad Dogs' is home of Foodie Out Loud's absolute favorite nachos.  Don't miss this one night only open bar (including their KILLER Margaritas) chips, salsa, nachos, quesadillas, and a celebratory champagne toast when the ball drops!

Clinton Street Baking Company flipping in a new location

Home of our favorite breakfast, we are excited for Clinton Street Baking Company to open new doors on East Houston street.  Chef-husband and wife Neil Kleinberg and Dede Lahman, first opened their doors in 2001, baking small batches of baked goods.  But the locals caught on to Neil's simply delicious omlets, sandwhiches and soups, later to be voted best in the city for pancakes twice by New York Magazine! The team at Foodie Out Loud couldn't agree more with EVERYTHING Neil and Dede serve at Clinton Street.  You are blown away with the bakery at the front of the store, but the magic begins at first sip of coffee and then first bite of their famous blueberry pancakes with maple butter.  Megan suggests getting a savory egg dish like the Farmer's Plate, or Spanish Scramble.  Then, get something sweet like any of the pancakes or Brioche French Toast.  While Foodie Out loud was seated, the Brioche French Toast was served to the table next to us and our jaws dropped.  We are so excited for their new, expanded location, and we know youre wondering....YES you can and should get pancakes for dinner!
